our neighbor, who took the time to explain why there was a hole in his yard. The kid asked a lot of questions and got quite an education on pipes, valves and sprinklers...(oh, and superman!)
berry picking with friends, the kid picked a pound of blueberries by himself!
involved grandparents - the kid is very lucky to go to camp at Grandma's, hang out with Gram and Papa, and enjoy dinner at his favorite restaurant on the mountain with Grandpa.
The kid and I both enjoyed watching the steam engine on the long train loop ride from the zoo to Washington park and back.
Taking a family outing at a local park to wind down in the evening.
Enjoying how easy it is for kids to make new friends at one of the kiddo's favorite parks. He was having so much fun playing ball, we just kept extending our outing.
After an extremely stressful morning, I enjoyed a very relaxed outing at Chuck e Cheese. It's amazing how playing skeet ball and air hockey can put everything back into perspective.
So grateful for the amazing music teachers that my son has had for the past four years through Music Together. This past week he graduated from the program and we had to say good bye to our favorite teacher. We will so miss this program!
Very happy that hubby's flight from NY will not be delayed an entire day. I don't think the kid could take him being gone for one more day (me either for that matter!).
Meeting up with a friend for dinner and then seeing Storm Large's Crazy Enough performance. The show was amazing and dinner was delicious!
Taking the time to get the kid a donut at a real donut shop. He savored every bite and I enjoyed chatting with him about our day together. That kid, he is a keeper!
Celebrating 'graduation' from preschool with an all school picnic, complete with Dave Hall and Fogatron.
